On my test system though the Avast certificate was trusted Im guessing the certificate on the affected readers system was outdated and had not been properly updated for some reason.. I mean theres some potential personal information there but in reality most people dont care if someone monitors their search.. Avast put it on drives loaded with other antivirus products on drives I downloaded which wind up in cache files that the anti-virusprogramvare on those volumes had missed.
Note that this is not the first such article here not long ago Avast was accused here in the same bombastic style of stealing virus definitions that someone installed with Avast could prove wrong.
